I love antique globes and maps! Not only do they offer a glimpse into how the world used to look but also provide a fun opportunity to play detective! I usually start in Asia but this time that was no help. A quick peek over in Europe though explained why; too old! Luckily lots was happening in Africa during that time period so by looking at all the counties and moving the proverbial goal posts each time I was able to narrow down the time frame to about a year.
